Edgewater Escape was just a great place on Lake Anna to take our kids, grandkids and furkids to one last time before school started. We loved the quiet and picturesque area. Complete with a dock for the grandkids to fish from, and they did for hours! Neighbors across the water were very friendly and provided the history on two community turtles, Henry and Henrietta, that were often seen swimming in and around the docks.
From the spacious and comfortable accommodations inside, to the amenities outside, and then to the surrounding serene hug of Lake Anna, Edgewater Escape is the perfect place to to get away from the maddening crowd and to "relax at the Lake!"

Got displaced by hurricane Erin and we had to relocate our vacation. Kristie went above and beyond at the last minute and after hours to get us into a property. The family had a blast with the pool/hot tub/firepit. The living spaces are spacious and cozy! Cute farmhouse style property at the end of a street with plenty of peace!

I was here for almost a month, Kristie’s place was perfect. Very quiet private sending in a small development. Had some issues with the WiFi the first couple of days and Kristie quickly responded and got the issue fixed within a couple of hours. Highly recommend staying here!

The house is beautiful. High ceilings, spacious rooms, and nicely appointed. Plenty of gathering spaces and places to play. Several fire places. Beautiful private and fenced back yard with a fantastic hot tub. Fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. Do be careful about when you arrive. We came after 6 pm on a Monday and could not get into the gated community as the security guard left at 6 pm. Believe he stays until 9 pm on Friday. After hours you need a key card. Luckily someone drove out and we were able to slip in before the gate had completely closed. While it is a dog friendly home dogs cannot be on the furniture which we did not realize until we arrived. It is all hard wood or vinyl floors which were hard and cold for the dogs. Would be great if there was a dog bed or dog friendly piece of furniture. Community beach has nice playground and good boat launch. But ducks everywhere so not good for swimming. Go to nearby state park to swim. Would definitely book again!!!
